Spring Camp Basics

  • Campers should choose both a morning and afternoon activity.

  • Campers may also attend just the Morning OR Afternoon session for $30 (hours are either 9-12 or 12:30-3:00)

  • Campers may attend by the day or session


SESSION I

April 29-May 2nd


MORNING SESSIONS


Flag Football Clinic)
(ages 7-12) (at local park)

(ages 4-6)

(All Ages)
Fashion Diva
(All ages welcome but students must be able to focus and stick with a creative project)

AFTERNOON SESSION

(ages 4-6)
Figure and Fashion Drawing
(recommended for those who are taking Fashion Diva)

OPTIONAL WEEKLY FIELD TRIP*

CuIver Ice
(previous experience or ice skates not required)
*$10 field trip supplement applies

(Those preferring to stay of campus may participate in our “Afternoon P.J. Party” w/ a fun game,movie & popcorn extravaganza.  Included in tuition )

BASEBALL and Agility CLINIC

(ages. 7-12) (local park)

T-Ball Clinic w/  guest coach
(ages 4-6) (local park)

Cooking Club
(Kids get to learn how to make several yummy cultural recipies and learn basic kitchen techniques and safety.)

Fine Arts

(Pottery & Painting Fundamentals)

AFTERNOON SESSION


Fencing/Skateboarding Clinic (all ages)
(alternates b/w semi private skateboarding and fencing lesson.  You get to make your own sword too!)

Cookbook/Book Making Clinic

(Embossing, Scrap-booking)

Rollerblade Clinic and Street Hockey (all ages)

(skateboarding will be held in small groups w/ full protective gear w/ pro coach)


THEME DAY: 70’s FEVER-Wear your bell bottoms and your tie-dye!

OPTIONAL WEEKLY FIELD TRIP*
Indoor Mini Golf at the Howard Hughes Center

(Those preferring to stay of campus may participate in our “Tie-Dye”  70’s party!  Wear you   Included in tuition )

MORNING SESSIONS

Fencing (ages 7-13)
(You get to make your own swords to take home too!)

Music Madness and Theater Camp
(Join the band this week  Band members get to write and record their own song!  No prior musical training is required, but this is a clinic for serious musicians and songwriters.   If everyone digs it like we know you will, you can jam w/ the Groove Band all year long at our new “Kids in the Band” program!)

“Animate Me” w/ Professional Cartoon Artist
(You get to create your own storyboard  to take home with you at the end of the week with YOU as the hero!  How cool!)

Girls’ Groove Diva Dance
(Serious Dancing Training for the Dancing Ballroom Diva w/ a professional filmed music video to take home at the end of the week!  Glam and Groove it w/ L)

AFTERNOON SESSION

CHESS CLINIC  (all ages)

(You get to make your own chess board and pieces too!)

Soccer and Agility Training
(local park) (all ages)
(We will add a guest coach if numbers allow)

Make Me Up!

(Girls get real makeup, hair and costume styling training (recommended for Dancing Diva Clinic).  Wait till you the glam gear that will come out of this clinic.  Includes basic sewing and hair styling training!)


Claymation Clinic
(This awesome sculpting seminar will lead to making a real Claymation short.  Fun!)

OPTIONAL FIELD TRIP*

PARENTS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY INVITED. (3:30-4:30)

JUNIOR COUNSELORS

We also have 4 Junior Counselors positions available for mature and helpful teens (age 13 and above).  Junior Counselor tuition will be reduced to $15/day which will include lunch and participation in our weekly field trip.  Community Service Credit may also be available to those regularly participating.


SAMPLE DAILY SCHEDULE:

9-9:20-Check in, Morning Craft and Playground
9:20-9:45-All Camp Meeting-Singing, Cultural Lesson and Recognition Ceremony
9:45-10:10-Snack Break (Sports Clinics leave for Field)
10:10-12:15-Morning Clinic
12:15-1:00-Lunch and Recess
1:00-3:00-Afternoon Clinic
3:00-6:00-(Art and Crafts, board  & playground time)

Lunch Menu

Monday: Turkey Hot Dog, Carrot Sticks and Ranch Dressing and Baked Fries
Tuesday: Cheese Quesadilla, Beans & Rice and Fruit
Wednesday: Pasta Marinara, Garlic Bread and Caesar Salad
Thursday: Chicken Nuggets, Baked and Carrot Sticks
Friday: Pizza served with salad or fruit

(Please send your child with a snack even if you are participating in the hot lunch program)
